California-Engels Mining Company announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Kevin Morris as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Morris currently serves as a Director of the company and succeeds Norman A. Lamb, who recently passed away. 

Mr. Morris is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in technology, consulting and small start-up businesses. 

In 1997, Mr. Morris created TriWireless Communications, LLC which was a wireless B2B company focused on medium to large commercial companies for 16 years before taking on a COO role with MK Enterprises, Inc. MK Enterprises Inc, better known as Maurice Kanbar Enterprises the inventor of SKYY Vodka and his holding company with assets of $500 Million and well known for its many diverse businesses. 

Mr. Morris obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from San Francisco State University. In addition to his executive experience, Mr. Morris is a multi engine instrument rated pilot, a former Commander of the SF Sheriff's Air Squadron and a Safety Instructor with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. Morris is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer in the field of aviation. He, his wife and two children reside in Marin County, California. 

Mr. Morris brings substantial experience in organizational leadership, communications, management, business negotiation, and entrepreneurship. Mr. Morris’s appointment will help ensure continuity in the company’s ongoing operations as the Board continues to evaluate the company’s strategic options. The company remains committed to acting in the best interests of its shareholders and stakeholders during this period of transition.
